Healthcare was affordable until the government fixed it. Now it is unaffordable and the more the government fixes it, the worse it gets. That being said, single payer is a more effective way to go. I would stipulate that everyone and I do mean everyone gets the same healthcare. Everyone from the President of the United States to the President of General Motors to the homeless guy living under a bridge somewhere.
