I can say for certainty that nobody in my platoon, or regiment was trying to act less like a MAN and more feminine when we were over in battle in Vietnam.
You suck it up, reach deep down inside and determine that you are going to fight until your last breath, all without thinking about it.

WHAT these idiots fail to state is that MOST men, yes even those who have fired thousands of live rounds ammo at an enemy trying to kill us all, actually can and many do stop to think before treading all over someone else's character, space, whatever in a workplace or social settings.
This is all about trying to make little girls out of real men..
NONE of these would have been alive after two days out in the bush or in any of the combat.
Ever notice how it ain;t the girls going out there face to face with 5,000 NVA regulars trying to kill ya??
