Yes, I love this story ... I have read it many times and never tire of reading it, again. Whether it actually occurred, as written, matters not - it speaks to the undeniable TRUTH. Unfortunately, politicians believe the earnings and accumulated wealth of every American citizen first belongs to them ... they believe that they get to decide how it gets spent ... because they are acting like drunken sailors on shore leave for our own good, don'tcha know! ... and that it is also their domain to decide how much we get to keep of our own assets. This story needs to be framed multiple times and hung up in every hall and room of the Capitol.
