Years ago I had all four pulled & was given a script percocet. I took ONE & threw the rest out. I hated the effect & it didn't help the pain, aspirin worked much better!

Tuesday I am having 2 teeth pulled, the dentist asked if I wanted to be put under, I said no. He said he'd give me a script for pain meds after, I told him I don't need them.

Interesting statistic that I heard today; 12% of all opioid prescriptions are being written by dentists, and many of these to teenagers and young adults after having their wisdom teeth pulled. I had two wisdom teeth pulled when I was a teenager and the other two after I was out of school and working, and all I got for pain was aspirin.
