I was thinking along the same lines. With no refrigeration, you'd think that everyone would be opting for quick cremations for their loved ones. Well, for the DEAD ones, anyway... Puerto Rico is tropical. In the tropics, it doesn't take long before the dead start to rot. That's NOT the kind of lasting memory most people want to take from a funeral.
