How about a GO FUND ME page? I bet ZZshart will be a contributor. He may give you a nickel....

I think the freeze drier that Ron Paul advertises is about 3 grand. Still cheaper than a barn....... But you may have other uses for 3 grand....

Ribs would just take it out of his sock drawer or mattress.

I still like the go fund me idea. Be interesting to see how that work......

Just talking out loud ....

Thank you for the compliment sir.

We have been prepared for things for several years now.

We replensih and replace if anything needs to be. Particularly bottled water we buy in gallon sizes.

We have a lot of freeze dried food we have bought. We also lots of other items that have long storage life.

We monitor and rotate stocks by DATES. When and if something needs to be pitched, well , it gets tossed and replaced by two or three times more.... Using that method, it did not take long to be self sufficient for half a year or longer..

I felt it was a lot less expensive than doing it your way... lol!!!!

This way I can stay in my fortress and defend it easily.

Never a good idea to try to storm a Marine's line of defense who is well armed and equipped.

I suggest folks stay clear of da King's place as well unless they have a death wish...

Hoping your preparations ALL come to fruition and exactly how you want them De!

I think you will have a lot less kids trick or treating there as well.

re: "We also have over 6 months worth of food and water in our house and plenty of ammo and the items that utilize the ammo."

Excellent post!

I'm glad to hear about the food. I'm still thinking about solving my food problems by buying a freeze dryer. With it, I can stock decades worth of food... enough to take in others, if there's ever a need. Canning isn't as good. Home canned foods are only good for a year. Also, more things can be freeze dried than canned.

The only problem for me is that a freeze dryer is expensive. A good one will run about $5,000. It's not small change.
