NBC says, NYC terrorist attack suspect identified as Uzbek immigrant, 29
Law enforcement authorities said the suspect in the lower Manhattan truck attack that killed eight and injured more than a dozen was Sayfullo Habibullaevic Saipov, 29, who entered the U.S. from Uzbekistan in 2010.
Officials said Saipov drove down a bike lane on the city’s West Side, hitting bikers and pedestrians before ramming a schoolbus. He emerged from the truck shouting “Allahu Akbar” and brandishing what appeared to be weapons before being shot by police and taken to a hospital.
On a side note, LLE and FBI should look into whether jihadis are linked to left wing groups. The red-green axis needs to be broken.
