I suspect the CIA was gun running through Benghazi because ISIS is or was the proxy warfare agent in Syria for the Sunni states. They were pretty much the only game in town countering Iran. Nothing else really panned out. So the US supported ISIS in league with the Gulf States, Saudi Arabia, Turkey and whomever else was in the Syrian pot. They likely did it covertly because there was so much criticism at home to supplying terrorists. Don't know if that's treason. They were doing the business of the CIC.
So why would people we were giving guns to attack us? imho, it was the Obama-Morsi plot to free the Blind Sheikh. Subject to change based on further evidence.

Guess I could have been clearer - Yes, those are the main ones that committed treason, along with John McCain, with their use of the CIA by gun running to enemies of the United States.
