TAxpayers are subsidizing everything else. Who ya think is paying for the empty seats on all them airplanes flying all over the place?

Coal may need a little subsidization on a temporary basis. It is the first industry targeted by an American president for destruction.

Coal is already non-competitive compared to Natural Gas and Wind and it's just a matter of time before Solar catches-up. That's why Trump's Interior and Energy Departments are proposing that taxpayers need to start subsidizing coal-fired power plants as they're no longer able to compete on a level playing field.
