Nope, I agree with all the things you don;t like either PLUS additionally the things I pointed out also that are just to me were ridiculous.
There is no excuse for US citizens to be paying much of anything in federal taxes anyway. Not if the federqal government only did what it was Constitutionally set up and established to do by our founding father's founding document, the Constitution.
BUT, that said, they were talking about doing one thing, which was to bring down the TAX RATES, have only a few tiers of income, and that was all.
They did not do that. They LIED. And now we are supposed all giddy about it.
I hate politicians... They are as bad as lawyers and used car salesmen, except for Nemo.. 
They say one thing and do another. Never found an honest one that did not lie to you when looking straight at you.
THAT is what I am pizzed about....
As for the Estate or DEATH tax. No One is affected by that unless you are dealing with an estate of more than 5 million dollars.
So, it does not affect the super vast majority of people in the country. And for those who do have estates this large, that is why there are Living TRUSTS that should be set up in advance...........
A god tax accountant is worth their weight in gold.......
My kids won't have to worry about the federal estate tax..... the value won;t come into play as I don;t have a 5 plus million dollar estate.....
