Manafort
Couple of excerpts:
Mr. Manafort signed a $10 million annual contract in 2006 with a Kremlin-connected oligarch, Oleg Deripaska, and wrote a memo indicating he could “influence politics, business dealings and news coverage in the United States, Europe and the former Soviet republics to benefit the Putin government.” ...
Mr. Manafort was buffeted last year by allegations that his clients were too close to the Kremlin. He resigned as campaign manager for Mr. Trump in August after reports that he had received $12.7 million in undisclosed payments from deposed Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych and his pro-Russian Ukrainian political party.

Donald Trump’s advisers was a lobbyist for the ISI’s successful front group in DC. That group was called the Kashmiri American Council (KAC). According to the Hindustan Times, again, “The aide, Paul Manafort, was part of the lobbying firm Black, Manafort, Stone & Kelly, which was paid $700,000 by the Kashmiri American Council (KAC) between 1990 and 1995.”
