It all depends on how much your pain level tolerance really is. Obviously you have some pretty bad damage in your lower back. You can depend on arthritis having a family gathering there also. Already you have chronic radiating pain that is causing you to notice.

You can also try some over the counter anti-inflmmatories like Naproxin Sodium (naprosyn) or IBUPROFIN. You can three ibuprofin at at at a time.

They will give you some relief. I cannot take that now because I take the Voltaren and Advil and that cannot be taken together. I take three tylenol with the voltaren and it helps a lot. Just walking causes me to have very uncomfortable lower back pain and it is all due to arthritis.

So you have some over the counter things you could try. STAY ON the advil or Naproxen Sodium daily for a couple weeks and let it get into your system and see if it helps with that. It should....

If not, this is where the Voltaren comes in, which is better than taking a prescribed pain pill because this actually helps with inflammation. And that is what YOU have.

Hope this helps a little. I know how miserable low spinal issues are. Nothing I can do for mine and same for you. Just have to live with it as best as we can.

Nemo, I take the generic equivalent of Voltaren, and anti-inflammatory daily, twice a day. One in morning with food and at evening with food. It helps keep the inflammation under control and is not a narcotic.

It is cheap also. $4.00 for a month supply at Walmart pharmacy. I recommend it to you.

Do I need a prescription for this micro? I have a hard time with doctors as well, after the high BP bullchit, and pills I didn't need to take. I don't trust the industry in whole.......
