I totally am in complete agreement with Starlights advice she pointed out to you. I do not recall if anyone else pointed out that aspect, but it is very observant and it is also spot on.
As a contractor yourself, you would not likely want an employee on a public forum talking about your business, etc., even though all the things you have stated have been nothing but praises of your new boss, and you expressing gratitude for the things SHE has done for you.
SHE could take it the wrong way and maybe feel her kindness has been betrayed, or she would not others she employs to know or see what you or each other are being paid..
For your own well being, I would agree with starlight's gentle advice and not talk about the boss anymore.
I know you are HAPPY and are thrilled, as you should be, but we have to respect the privacy of the employer as well. So definitely don't let her know about aliases, or this thread and just keep on doing the stand up great work you have been and keep it all on a pprofessional level.
She will appreciate all the more for being professional in all your dealings with the boss.
Capt, I really hope you didn't show her or tell her about this thread.
She could take offense at your posting her business. Or, she might think you're encouraging her to make advances towards you. Or who knows what. Avoid this at all costs. Do not feel too comfortable with her or make advances, she's the boss and it will not end well. I hope you didn't, but my eyes won't stay open -- I have to go to sleep, which is long overdue, as much as I want to see more of this thread! Take note of all those start on everyone's posts.
