The PLAN for Earth.
YES. It will be in flames. The entire planet will be purged with "fire" one day.
God Himself will see to it. He is PURGING it from the corruption that SIN of mankind has corrupted it with.
A NEW Earth will be re-born and this world will return to its original beauty from creation without SIN. It's all in the Bible folks....
Here is a small tidbit that many don't talk about either.
Question is: if I happen to live through the great Tribulation period and am not a Believer in Jesus Christ, and I live in a city somewhere and CHRIST is ruling and reigning on the earth in Jerusalem, what is my lifespan ???
Answer. That can be found in Isaiah where that entire time period is discussed in great detail...
You see, MANY people think that only Revelation deals with things of the end times. What they do not realize is that many things found and revealed in more detail in Revelation are also discussed by the Prophets in the Old Testament, particularly Isaiah and Zechariah.
Most people don't really know the Old Testament scriptures or study them so they have incomplete knowledge of things we find in the NEW Testament, like the books of Peter, Hebrews, John's epistles to the church and body of believers. Of course the book of Revelation.
When Jesus said ALL things will become new, that includes the WORLD we live on, planet earth. It "groans" under the curse of SIN when it entered the world. That will change. As will the animal kingdom.
Did you realize that when Christ paid the penalty for sin, and God purges the entire world from the effects of sin, that even the animals will not be affected anymore? The earth will be like pristine in beauty as it was originally.
There will be people living here on earth. Lots of people. They will be those who trust Christ after the rapture takes place. It will be difficult for that to happen because of delusion. But many will realize after it is too late that they were left behind.
You don't want to be here after Christ summons all of us home with him by way of a Trumpet sounding.
God's wrath and vengeance in judgment is going to rain down upon this planet upon all those who are left. His CUP of INDIGNATION is close to full now. When it is full, HE will say to HIS SON, it is time.
It is always amazing to me that people who have been given brilliant minds are always so blind to the very obvious things of planet earth and the Spiritual realm. They simply cannot or refuse to see the works of GOD for what they are and try to explain them away with some scientific nonsense. They simply cannot grasp or understand that the Creator of all things had HIS hand in the making of all things and all we are doing is discovering HIS POWER when we realize how some things actually work, like Photosynthesis for a small example. Isn't GOD AWESOME?
Or Pro-creation. To be able to bring new life into being...
Lastly, look at the GRASS.
When it turns cold, it withers. When warmth returns it regenerates and revives.
Like the Spirit of men and women. When we BASK in the warmth of HIM, we regenerate and revive. We come alive again and thrive in new hope and confidence! So is the very grass in our yards. It is an example to us.
Just like everything else in our world. It shows forth the very ONE who created it and tells us that indeed, HE is God and HE is ever with us and it is HE who is in complete control of all things regarding this world and all worlds.
Sorry for the long post. I was simply struck by the lack of comprehension by one who has such a mind for physics, but no heart for the ONE who created Him, and the world and the universe.
