Maybe you don't realise it, but he agrees with me. He can be charged with obstruction of justice if he exceeds his constitutional authority. That's where the rule of law kicks in. If he obstructs justice to protect his illegal acts, he can be found to have obstructed justice, of course.

Of course the president can break the law as Nixon did by paying hush money and telling subordinates to lie to the FBI. But a president can’t be charged with obstruction for merely exercising his constitutional authority.
