Well, Franken has not actually resigned. He questioned the charges of some of the accusers and said the others miss-remembered the events. Not really sure why you are sad he is leaving. He will be replaced with another Democrat so there is really no change politically.

Gillibrand has proven herself to be disingenuous on several levels. She was more than happy with the Clinton's when it was useful to her. She really discredited herself.

If Franken does follow through and resign I am pretty sure Ellison would not be chosen. He would be a very weak candidate in the election.

The entire list should be made public and any taxpayer settlement dollars ought to be "clawed back" from the perpetrators. Which politician's should we trust to have no skeletons in their closets? I have no idea.

Do you think all the politicians that called for Franken's resignation are pure as the driven snow?

The whole fiasco illustrates why I want as small a government as possible and why market forces are the best choice for our society.

Al fell on his sword.
He was a good senator & I'm sad he's leaving.

As for Gillibrand, I phoned & emailed her yesterday to let her know I disagreed.

Does anyone think she would have thrown him under the bus if the governor was a republican... please...

I sure hope Keith Ellison isn't the choice.

When do republicans hold Blake Farenthold's feet to the fire? He cost taxpayers $84,000....
