The issue was not what was being taught but that a child of one of those tax-paying American citizens was being denied attending a school that they're supporting (via their taxes) based on a purely religious prejudice. And besides, at 8 years old, how can the length of a child's hair or her clothing preference be deemed "immoral behavior"?

...if a school for atheist and agnostics taught evolution would it be religious prejudice?

Personally I don't think any private school should get government assistance and that they should be able to teach whatever they want. Im just trying to point out that you have no proble with what taxpayer funded schools teach unless it is different from what you believe.
