...would you expect a muslim school that was funded by taxpayer funds to make an accommodation for the child of Christian child. Would you deny them the ability to teach what they believe?

...the child was not being denied entrance to the school if she complied with the rules.

That is why I am opposed to govt funding of any religious schools private or otherwise.

The issue was not what was being taught but that a child of one of those tax-paying American citizens was being denied attending a school that they're supporting (via their taxes) based on a purely religious prejudice. And besides, at 8 years old, how can the length of a child's hair or her clothing preference be deemed "immoral behavior"?
