which sounds to me like the Bill Cosby thing and other such Hollywood incidents in which people exhibit a pattern of misconduct (which rules out the liar hypothesis) - I hope an acting ethic prevails.
It appears to me that beauty rather than ability usually wins the casting couch. And so America produces actors and actresses famed for the way they look.
Maybe if the sexual harassment revelations - the genuine ones rather than the ones which look like vindictiveness and lying - work through the system effectively, America will end up making more movies with actors and actresses skilled in their craft.
More Meryl, less Angelina, please.
I am afraid many of the beautiful people will lose their opportunity. But it seems it belonged to them for spurious reasons also.
