Interesting that since Monday, when they could start to sell recreational pot here in California, there have been several PSA's (Public Service Announcements) on the TV and radio. Now we've had similar ones in the past where they warned people that driving while "buzzed" was the same as a DUI and would be dealt with in a similar manner. The difference with the new PSA's is that these now show actual people sharing the reasons why they're using pot. And these is pretty much of a cross-section, young, old, black, white, Asian, Hispanic, people talking about using it medically, some just saying that they do it to relax and while partying, but in the end, the message is the same, don't drive while "buzzed". It's just that the announcements now have real people's faces and comments which informs the listener that they are all using pot legally yet still responsibly.

I don't think pot sellers are allowed to actually run adverts on the TV or radio, but these PSA's are a sort of subliminal advert.
