48 would be a heat wave here. We'd get rain instead of snow. And that would wash the dust out of the air.
The past 2 months have been brutal for dust, as shown on the allergy website and in my filters. The filters for the heat pump's indoor fan unit are the worst I've ever seen them. I change them once a month and they're filthy on both sides. Of course it's constantly running with the extreme cold we've been having, but that's a lot of dust, for sure. Dust from Asia or are we having another dust bowl?
