Yes, it was straight from the heart. Most things I write are that way. Sometimes I use my business and engineering experience when writing but most times things like this are straight from my heart. You are indeed perceptive.

I di not post this on Zero Hedge as I would be required to sign up and I am not interested in that trash having my information.

Otherwise, if I could have responded anonymously I would..

Whoever that writer was that trashed veterans and then broad brushed all of us, is a flaming liberal who simply hates veterans.... It shows...
It also shows that person never served and really knows nothing of the millions of us who quietly live our lives and the public that we live in does not know we are former military. We just want to live our lives like everyone else without being singled out or getting attention.

NOBODY in our neighborhood knows my background and I have lived in the same house for over 40 years.

I suspect that many are just like me. Like Ribit.
He is not looking for attention, applause, or a pat on the back either. Snapits is same way as is DG and Zimbler.

I have no idea where this clown got his information but I take it as a hit piece because he don;t like veterans. THAT is how he comes across.

If I ever spoke to this person he would never know he was talking to someone who was engaged in heavy fighting on three occasions. It happened. It is ancient history. Life goes on. I was honorably discharged and went on to become successful in engineering and business.

I am no different than anyone else. Learning about Ribit he is same way. He is excited about his grandchildren coming over. I get that way too! My oldest ones are in high school ad I have two in Virginia Beach that one is ONE year old and the other has a birthday coming quickly this month and he will be seven. I am always happy to see them the few times I get to....

ONE MORE DAY and I go to surgery Center for a spinal steroid injection to try to quiet down Mr. Sciatic Nerve.
