Correct. Having a serious illness and hospitalizations with life time limits on healthcare coverage, is a sure way to bankruptcy court, losing one’s house, and ....dying in the end for lack of medical care.
Except that it will cover the majority of a person's medical expenses thus reducing the likelihood of having to ever see the inside of bankruptcy court, as the vast majority of personal bankruptcies is the result of medical bills.
