The Employee's side of FICA withholding is as follows:
* Social Security: 6.20% (subject to limitation - not applicable on wages above $128,400 in 2018 )
* Medicare: 1.45% (applicable on first $200,000 of wages and then 2.35% on all wages above $200,000).
In general, the total FICA rate is 7.65% on the Employee and another 7.65% on the Employer.
The State of Washington has a "Worker's Compensation Tax," the payment of which is split between the Employee and Employer (although, I am not sure what the % split is between the Employee and Employer). The rate of the tax is dependent upon the risk classification of the job being performed.
