I think my techniques with the roll of paper towels and inclined recliner with memory foam pillow act as a poor man's rack that kind of spreads the spine a bit, taking pressure off. But who knows.
I have had a couple of episodes where I could only stand up, too. That's pretty difficult to pull off.
Did you try a chiropractor?
