One of my best friends in NY is a Norwegian. He was born tnere, and came here with his family when he was 3 or 4. We’ve been riding and racing bikes together for decades. He has a lot of family in Norway, and they visit him regularly every year, different cousins show up, etc., and they go all over America to experience it and see it. Norwegians are very well off, They got money, great jobs, well paid, lots of vacation time, and they travel a lot. A very high end, sophisticatd society. One of his cousins is a civil war and American history aficionado, and has visited every battle ground and historical location in Anerica over the years, and more than once. He loves this country.
Well, not one of them would ever come to live here and be an American. In fact no other Norwegian would. Ametica cannot match their high standard of living, in any aspect.
This is not tne group of people who’d want to become Americans. They live extremely well where they are. They would be taking a serious hit in this country. From all aspects. I cannot go i to detail here, but in talking with them, and finding out how things are and done there, they have no reason to come here other than in visits to see and enjoy what America, its culture, history, and countryside offer to all of us. And that includies the amazing diversity.
Trump in his ignorance and golden toilet has no knowledge of the real America out there, the desert double wides Indians live in out west, Appalachia, etc., we have our own shitholes here, and we better fix that before we make comments about other places in the world where the tired, the poor, and hiddled masses live.
