...ya know we all make mistakes and some of em haunt us for the rest of our lives. It was the fourth quarter with only a couple of minutes left in the game. We had a 6 point lead. The other team had been stopped on third and long and was going to punt and hope their defense could get the ball back for them. Coach sent one of our best receivers into the game and told him to catch the ball, ground it and we would run out the clock.

The guy went out on the field and caught the punt, placed the ball on the ground and ran off the field. He did not call for a fair catch. A more astute player on the other team picked the ball up and ran into the endzone with it. We lost the game and to this day our team mate is known as "Fair-Catch"

That allowed the Vikings to with that football game with NO TIME left on the clock because he simply did not tackle him , which was all he had to do, not worry about whether he caught the ball because they were half a mile from the end zone with no time, still be on the Saints roster for next season?

Brees made history by leading his team back from a 17 point deficit in the 4th quarter to the lead, and with only a few ticks of the clock left, Minnesota QB throws a lob pass that was not nearly far enough to even let the Vikings attempt a field goal, much less have ANY time left to try one.

WHAT A BONE HEAD. He cost an NFL hall of Famer a shot at Philadelphia because he did not know the circumstances, the time left on the clock, or WHERE they were on the field...

IS this guy really a high school kid????

Unbelieveable. !!!!
