"I see TEXAS is getting a taste of WINTER !

BELDIN, how is it??

It is COLD for us, my friend! Temps in the teens and the wind has been blowing pretty good all day. BUT, we missed the precipitation, which is a blessing, since such winter events have a nasty habit of simply turning DFW into an ice skating rink - no snow, just ice. By this weekend, we're supposed to be in the upper 60s!

All in all, it could be much worse ... I could be typing this somewhere in the frosty winter wonderland of North Dakota!

I sure am glad to hear that your doc still has some non-surgical options for you. I hope you get better real soon!

I net with my spine doc this morning to review some things and see where we go from here.

I endured some pretty intense and downright super painful deep injections into my sciatic nerve last week and another one into my spine. I actually came up off the table involuntarily the one hurt so shockingly.... Could not help it....

SO, I was thinking this past week looks like I am heading for the surgical table...

We had a great and enlightening conversation.

Doc feels like she can get get rid of the thing pressing, pinching on my nerve, and also be able to relieve some additional pain caused by degenerative arthritis in a few of the lower facets as well.

IF that can happen, then there is a light at the end of a long, and painful tunnel....

Procedure is set for Tuesday next week early in morning.

THIS time however, I will be getting an I.V sedation to help with being overly nervous and sensitive to areas that are already at a ten on the pain meter and me worrying about getting nailed big time again. Should help relax me a little.. That would be good.

SO, I am hoping for the best possible outcome from this. Doc feels confidant that she can make this go away without operating. Just takes more than one step. Two, maybe three. But I like that better than risking becoming a paraplegic.

SO I got some good news, no, GREAT NEWS today !

WHAT I don;t like about today is that I have over 6 inches of SNOW laying in my yard and on my sidewalks, and it was 3 degrees most of the morning. It finally late this afternoon rose up to mid-teens. Heat wave!

I see TEXAS is getting a taste of WINTER !

BELDIN, how is it??

DG, you get any of this cold or snow or ice???

I know Austin is supposed to...
