I'm just thinking here . . .
But I suspect the garage ought to be to the left of
the house, with a 'breezeway' running from the garage
to the end of the porch. The front porch would need
to be extended across the front of bedroom 2 to connect
the porch to the breezeway.

Or is the plan for the garage to access the basement
from behind the house?

The house does look nice though.

Exterior and interior images are shown below. Right now, they don't match because we added 8 feet to the length of the house on the interior image but didn't do the same with the exterior image.

We'll probably change the garage to face frontward instead of being side entry. Basement and garage plans don't yet exist... but I think it's obvious from the exterior image that the garage is meant to be entered from the right. It will be on the same level as the basement.

Stretching the house enabled us to have a big master bedroom and kitchen. We haven't yet figured out how the kitchen will be laid out, so it probably looks stupid at the moment.
