The Kalifornia Kommissars are soiling their pants ... they're deathly afraid of what everyone else already knows is a no-brainer ... productive citizens will flee punitive, confiscatory state taxes ... especially when such taxes are imposed simply to fund Socialist redistribution of wealth schemes.

Wealthy exodus to escape new tax rules worries California Democrats

http://www.sacbee.com/news/politics-government/capitol-alert/article195405279.html

The Republican-backed federal tax bill flipped the tables on a never-ending question for California politicians: Will high taxes lead the state's wealthiest residents to flee the Golden State for the comparable tax havens of Florida, Nevada and Texas?

The table has NEVER been "flipped," you idiot ... Kalifornia has ALWAYS put itself in harm's way by punishing its most productive citizens with confiscatory taxes for its Socialist giveaways.

Republicans reliably raise that alarm when Democrats advocate for tax increases, like the 2012 and 2016 ballot initiatives that levied a new income tax on very high-earning residents.

They reliably raise the alarm because what they have to say is the obvious, reliable TRUTH ... which the Kalifornia Kommissars reliably ignore at their own peril.

But now, with the federal tax bill cutting off deductions that benefited well-off Californians, the state's Democrats suddenly are singing the GOP song about a potential millionaire exodus.

The TRUTH has become too big to ignore, anymore ... even for willfully deaf, dumb & blind Kalifornia libtards.

"People with higher incomes pay a lot more money, and some of them may be tempted to leave," Gov. Jerry Brown said when he unveiled his 2018-19 budget proposal last week. "This was an assault by the Republicans in Congress against California." ...

Your citizens with higher incomes ... who are constantly financially RAPED by you and your fellow Kommissars ... might be "tempted to leave" Kalifornia, eh? ROTFLMAO at you, Moonbeam! You are such a pathetic putz! Of course there will be a greater outflow from Kalifornia - it's a NO-BRAINER - even for morons like you. And NO, Moonbeam ... this was no assault by Republicans in Congress ... this is most definitely an obvious case of you and your Marxist Democrats in Sacramento blowing off your very own toes. You are the ones who have gleefully imposed confiscatory taxes on your state's productive citizenry for decades and decades, now - THAT is on you.

Democratic state lawmakers are worried because California relies so heavily on the income taxes it collects from high earners to fund government services. The state's wealthiest 1 percent, for instance, pay 48 percent of its income tax, and the departure of just a few families could lead to a noticeable hit to state general fund revenue. ...

Prime example for ya, Moonbeam - right there! You intentionally punish your productive citizens (1% of your population pays for HALF of your state's budget) so you can buy votes by passing out goodies to ne'er-do-wells. Sorry, Moonbeam ... you should have listened to Margaret Thatcher ... THAT isn't sustainable. You either need to become rational in a hurry and change course or suffer the consequences of your more productive citizens voting with their feet.

California Democrats want businesses to give half their tax-cut savings to state

http://www.sfgate.com/bayarea/article/California-democrats-want-businesses-to-give-half-12508742.php

California lawmakers are targeting the expected windfall that companies in the state would see under the federal tax overhaul with a bill that would require businesses to turn over half to the state.

A proposed Assembly Constitutional Amendment by Assemblymen Kevin McCarty, D-Sacramento, and Phil Ting, D-San Francisco, would create a tax surcharge on California companies making more than $1 million so that half of their federal tax cut would instead go to programs that benefit low-income and middle-class families. ...

WOW ... businesses are flooding out of Kalifornia, now ... if these Kalifornia Kommissars get their despotic way, businesses will be SCREAMING out of the Land of Fruits & Nuts!!!
