They've been talking about this all week, and the march is NOT the result of the shutdown, but rather in commemoration of Trump's first year in office. And unlike Trump's tweet earlier today where he thanks the marchers for honoring him, before he was told the real reason for the march, they are doing this as a PROTEST against Trump and his policies.
