...I thought it was something similar. I know they can put stuff on digital photo's and videos. Most digital cameras put stuff on as well as decent dashcams. I believe that if the cops know a crime was committed at x location at y time they can tell who was there (or at least who's cellphone, dashcam, gps thingy, rfid chip in credit cards etc that they can do an arrest pretty quick. I can see the day coming where computers know where you are every second and if ya jaywalk during the middle of the night you can expect to get a traffic ticket in the mail in a couple of days.
