BREAKING: Amtrak train carrying GOP lawmakers collides with truck; no serious injuries reported
A chartered Amtrak train carrying Republican lawmakers to a retreat in West Virginia hit a trash truck Wednesday morning. Initial reports from the scene indicate there were no serious injuries.
The train was carrying Republicans from the House and Senate, Rep. Carlos Curbelo of Florida, who was on the train, told MSNBC. "It was a sudden impact, a loud noise and everyone was jolted," he said.
