My only disappointment with these probiotics so far is that permanent probiotic colonies don't seem to be establishing. Not yet, anyway.

I noticed that also. Maybe they dont, just have to maintain our level of junk in the gut LOL

Realist - Everybody in America is soft, and hates conflict. The cure for this, both in politics and social life, is the same -- hardihood. Give them raw truth.

Re: That would explain my gut problems...”

I did a little research and bought Nexabiotic Multi-Probiotics a couple of months ago. The improvement was immediate and undeniable.

Unresolved and worsening digestive problems I'd been tolerating for years were dramatically improved. I could hardly believe it, but even ONE tablet had a noticeable effect.

My only disappointment with these probiotics so far is that permanent probiotic colonies don't seem to be establishing. Not yet, anyway. Maybe it's asking too much, but if I go one or two days without taking the pills, the problems begin to return. Oh well. I'm convinced that this brand works and would recommend anyone with gut problems at least try it. In fact, I sent an order to my sister a couple of weeks ago. I haven't heard back from her, but it will be interesting to see what she has to say. (Her digestive problems aren't the same as mine, so maybe her results will differ. In my case, I had gas and diarrhea that I was chalking up to allergies but could never quite pin down. It seems that my diagnosis was wrong. After starting with these probiotics, even milk is okay. That shouldn't be the case if I'm actually allergic.)

BTW, these are also among the least expensive of the more highly rated brands. $14.82 for 30 tablets. That's about half of what competitors are charging.

I can't speak to the effectiveness of other brands since I haven't tried them. I can only tell you that grocery store probiotics - Activia yogurt and such - did nothing for me.
