Below is an on-line advert from McCormick & Schmick's Seafood restaurants:
M&S is a division of Landry's Inc., owned by Tilman Fertitta, of CNBC "Billion Dollar Buyer" fame.
Anyway, the cool part of this advertising campaign is a variety of Oysters, which Landry's is marketing under the name "Johnny Shucks". By 'cool' I mean that the "Johnny" in this advert is our oldest son. He's the corporate executive at Landry's responsible for the all of the food operations at the McCormick & Schmick's Seafood restaurants around the country and a few other stores in Canada. Besides managing the kitchen, or 'back-side' operations at close to 60 locations, he's also personally responsible for all of the menu items served at these restaurants. With that in mind, he works closely with the various suppliers around the world and recently they've entered into an agreement to be the exclusive outlet for a new variety of oysters that are being sold under his name, thus the label "Johnny Shucks"
So far, the reviews have have been great and we've got to go and check it out soon ourselves.
