In y'all's living quarters, ya likely has a sofa of some sort. My sectional has six cushions to sit on.
From the day I brought it home six years ago, I have hated this thing. So has mrs.micro and you don't want her pizzed at ya..
ANYHOO, the problem is the freaking cushioned seats are too freaking soft. Ya can sit on them, and then you sink down into them. They is TOO soft.
Sticking a board under them does not help. The FOAM that the cushion is made of is simply NOT DENSE enough.
The solution.
Change the foam with a denser grade of foam...
I just did that. Today. I ordered from a Milwaukee company two new cushions that I could put inside the cushion cases and replace these pieces of crap from Englander, which I had Englander replace 5 times already with NO success.
For a crummy 66 dollars my new cushions arrived today and me and mrs.m replaced two of the old ones with these.
WHAT A HUGE difference. We now sit on top of the cushion instead if sunk down to the bottom of it...
SO if you want to siton top of your old favorite couch with a new replacement cushion that you sit on top of instead of inside of, look at

You will be glad you did. It comes in various densities. I ordered the XL-38 because my cushions are 5 1/2 inches thick.
Cheap way to make your sofa or sectional feel new again..
I am excited.....
