Rick Scott has helped make Florida, especially Miami/Dade and Broward counties more of a shithole than it was.
I have been thinking of canning this place, long before these events. It is a very unheslthy place to live. The smell of pesticides is nearly constant, cars and trucks blowing blue and/or black smoke, badly maintained diesels, garbage dumps and incinerators in the middle of neighborhoods, and on and on you constantly inhale shit . Drive with open windows on traveled roads and you’ll get a headache. Good thing is it is usually windy, but even that only masks the airborne pollution, because it’s always there. Better by the beach, but a mile inwards, it’s all there. And the pesticides are everywhere. Spraying is routine here. I never walk on grass, anywhere, because you never know when or what has been sprayed on it or the plants which get regular doses for all the pests and bugs, ants, etc.
Gotta find a better place to spend winters, although it is impossible to find better weather.
If you go to a less populated place north, you end up living among cretins in bumfkUSA. Very boring. So, it is a catch 22. And you still won’t avoid the pesticides, just less of everything else.
As for the drivers, there can’t be worse. The I95 section in Miami area has more accidents than all of I95, all the way to Maine together! Every intersection is strewn from glass from accidents. Never seen more police cars, flashing lights, etc. it is incredible.
