Most definitely.
One can easily spend a day just visiting all the
pulloffs along the South Rim.

But, yeah, the South Rim is more like scrub brush and
short bushes type things. The North Rim is about
a thousand or so feet higher, and it has real trees.

The South Rim, when the sun and colors are right gives
one much more scenic views. But the North Rim is also
very nice.

I'll probably give it another shot one day. I think, as a kid, I visited the rim three times. Each time, I stood there for
ten minutes. Then I yawned and my family picked up and left.

To fully appreciate the Grand Canyon, I imagine it needs more than ten minutes.
