It is always great and inspiring to see some of the MAJESTY of this Land we live in.

The sheer size and enormity of the Grand Canyon is just mind boggling.

I think my favorite mountain range is the Canadian Rockies for sheer ruggedness and endless panaorama.

Really have enjoyed seeing the photos you all have taken time to go through process of posting them...

What a GREAT board of remarkable people we have!

Decomposed,
Here (hopefully) I will post a few pictures from the
North Rim of the Grand Canyon.

I don't think I had a digital camera when GirlFriend
and I went to Yellowstone . . .

This would be along the road into the North Rim.

This should be a view of the Canyon from the North
Rim. Where you see the people, I believe, was called
'Bright Angel Point'. (But it was a while . . .)
I loved it out there.

And this would be the trail which leads to the bottom
of the Grand Canyon. One can hike all the way across
the Canyon - North Rim to South. A beautiful but
strenuous hike.

By the way, I think it was 1988 last time I managed
to hike across the Canyon. One thing I do remember,
was needing long pants and a jacket and hat up on the rim where I started, and changing into shorts and a
T-shirt when I completed the first and worst of the
vertical drop. (To be young and indestructible again.)
