We canâ€™t let cretins and the stupid silence the rest of us. We all onow, even the cretins, but not the stupid, that the 2nd Amendment does not give individuals the right own guns, but we can make allowances for guns for self protection and hunting rifles. Nothing more.

BAN ASSAULT WEAPONS TO BEGIN WITH.

Furthermore, background checks EVERYWHERE, ALL THE TIME, and take away guns from those with mental problems, immediately, as well as those who make threats towards ANYONE.

No fly list? NO GUN FOR YOU!

And, you have to be 21 to even apply for a gun.

Take all guns away from anyone in the above categories that has them.

These steps will have impact in the short term, and a big one 10 years and beyond.
