As percentage, the U.S. spendathon on social benefits is miffle of the road in comparison with other countries.

HOWEVER, let me point out that in terms of real dollars, there is no doubt in my mind that our 19 percent of GDP far exceeds France's 31 percent of their GDP. Or ANY other nation for that matter.......
BY FAR and away.

A GOOD chart would be one that shows the average dollars per person per population. That could be eye opening...
