YES it does. It also scans for rootkits and a whole lot more.... It's not free but it is a lot better than auslogics free. A long time ago I did the same thing but found out that there is better working stuff that takes up very small footprint on the computer.

Malwarebytes: Use the PAID version. FAR better and superior to the freebie. Does more and is a lifetime subscription. You won't be sorry.

Jefferson woould have benefited greatly from a backhoe or frontloader........

I use Malwarebytes regularly. I used to use CCleaner, but they were hacked a while back and began distributing a version infected by a virus. I haven't trusted them since then.

I'm not familiar with Auslogics, but I do defragment every Saturday morning with the disk optimizer that comes with Windows. See the screenshot below.

And I'm not familiar with Webroot, but I've been happy with AVG. It works well and it's free. Does Webroot do something beyond just antivirus?

Yes, we've toured Monticello. In fact, it's what got me to thinking about terracing the hillside in NH. The only trouble is, I don't have slave labor like Jefferson did. Maybe my results will be as good with a backhoe. Rolling Eyes
