the author of the article you posted is not a Christian. He is looking for something and has assembled a collection of ideas and melded them into some grand scheme and notion that there is a mysterious group of people here on earth who are selling tickets to gain a seat in an eternal place called heaven..... It is denied to everyone and only available to a select few...... To say this writer sounds like one who is a writer for Ancient Astronauts and aliens theories would not be too far off.

EVERY individual is born with an eternal inner spirit which is what makes you, you! You also have the ability as you age a little to look around and observe that creation itself was not happenstance, nor could it be.. PAUL made this very point in First Corinthians...

SO everyone who is at least a tiny bot observant knows that a higher power, GOD, created this world. It did not just boil and bubble and all of a sudden we have dry land, various and all kinds of creatures, insects, plant life of all different kinds and types, fowls of the air, the various species of fish in freshwater and also sea water... The atmosphere and it is still filled with water vapor.

The earth is exactly the right distance from the SUN and at the exact correct angle so we do not burn up or be an ice planet. IT is perfectly in place....

IS this just a sheer stroke of LUCK including all the various forms of life in the animal kingdoms, insect kingdom, oceanic kingdoms, fowls kingdom.

Then we can look and see how exactly does the BODY work and where did all those internal veins, and arteries, and organs and self healing ability and the brain, and of course, the skeletal frame come from and really, that just happened by chance and accident over a period of time????

GOD says that HE IS THE ONE, JESUS the SON in particular, who SPOKE and the worlds came into existence, and all the stars. HE spoke and the SUN was created (Let there be light) and it is perfect distance from the earth. HE SPOKE and separated the water and the heaven on earth. (atmosphere, AIR) THEN he SPOKE and created mountains and plateaus from the power of volcanoes pushing upward and so we have dry ground , an atmosphere, and plenty of air. HE spoke again and created the animal kingdom. And then all the rest of insects and water creatures like fish and crustaceans.

Lastly, HE SPOKE and created MAN out of the dirt of the ground. Livng, breathing, heart, lungs, arteries, skeleton, brain to think and mouth to speak.

ALL POWER RESIDES in GOD. ALL of IT.

IS HEAVEN SELECTIVE ?

YES and NO......

NO because CHRIST died for the sins of ALL the world and everyone in it from the beginning to the end. HE has said
"whosoever will may come" and "come unto me all you who labor and are heaven laden (of heart), and I WILL GIVE YOU REST". (eternal rest)
Again, HE said "I stand at the DOOR and knock. If any man (or woman) HEAR MY VOICE(respond) and come unto me, I will in no wise cast them out".

Again, "LOOK UNTO ME and be YE saved, all the ends of the earth: FOR I AM GOD and there IS NONE ELSE". Isaiah 45:22

SO, yes, there IS a qualification to gain entrance into Heaven to live forever with a HOLY and PURE and RIGHTEOUS and JUST GOD...

The qualification is to accept that HE has a desire for YOU to live eternally with HIM by merely TRUSTING IN HIS dear Son's death, burial, and resurrection and asking HIM alone to be YOUR ONLY HOPE of salvation.

IT IS NOT of anything you can DO (works), only FAITH IN HIM. HIM ALONE PLUS nothing else....... Yes, the GOSPEL message is a simple one.

Yes it is one that most people do not want to hear.
It is one most people will reject because it just can't be that simple.

May I remind you that there was a Roman Centurion who had come down with that disease called Leprosy and HE had heard of the prophet Elisha and thought that he had nothing to lose so he sent to Elisha inquiring what must he do to be healed? ELSISHA told him if he would believe and have faith, to go DIP HIMSELF in the Jordan River 7 times. After some instances of asking the prophet if this was really going to work, the centurion's servant said to him that if the prophet had given him something really hard and difficult to do he would not hesitate. WHY not try SIMPLE thing and believe that it will take away the leprosy? He agreed. And dipped himself in and out of JORDAN seven times. When he came out of the river the seventh time his skin was like that of a newborn baby. HIS FAITH had made HIM whole again.

GOD has made SALVATIOIN simple so that even a little child can understand and come to HIM in faith....

YOU do not have "TO DO" anything. JOHN 3:16 -17: says "16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved."

Here is why it is selective:

GOD is HOLY and so nothing that is corrupt with SIN is going to enter into HIS presence or Kingdom. MEn and women the wrld over reject HIM for one simple reason.

JOHN 3:18 - 19 says "18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.

PEOPLE do not like to think that they are BAD. They think they are good. BY people standards that is likely true. HOwever, by HOLY standards, we are a far way away from being pure, holy, sinless. SO it is our PRIDE that keeps us from coming to Christ and confessing ur failures,. our sins, and asking FOR HIM to forgive us and cleanse us from our sins.

SO there are requirements to live eternally In HEAVEN.

There are requirements for you to spend eternity in Hell?

1.One must think he is a good person and that GOD simply must allow them to enter into his kingdom.

2. A person knows they have done bad things and are a miserable and wretched creature yet they continue to reject the answer for their condition, which is to seek Christ and ask forgiveness. IN other words, their pride keeps them from coming.

3. People get the mistaken idea that there is something that they can actually do to attain heaven without ever coming to Jesus. They try to bypass the Savior with their false sense of GOOD THINGS they do.

Bottom line is this: People simply do not come to Christ in FAITH. "But without faith it is impossible to please him:

There simply is no other way.

DR Luke wrote the book of Acts. In the 4th chapter we read:
Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

The reason HEAVEN is SELECTIVE is because we must be LIKE HIM, unblemished and made spotless by washing our sins away permanently by the BLOOD HE SHED at the CROSS of Calvary. WE MUST come to HIM in FAITH. IF WE DO, HE WILL NOT TURN US AWAY....

If one wants to arrive at a destination anywhere in this country, do they not need to first get into a car or vehicle to get started on their way???

Heaven is no different. Jesus said the starting point is HIM. People MUST START by coming to HIM, seeking forgiveness and asking to be saved , trusting HIM ALONE for eternal life in heaven with him... THAT is the sole reason HE came and endured the agony of a Roman Cross. HE made it possible to pay your and my sin penalty acceptable to The FATHER as payment in full so we don;t have to. ALL we need do s TRUST HIM.

IF we choose not to, then that choice was ours and not HIS.

HE is not willing that ANY should perish, but that ALL should come to repentence.....
