Sad indeed...

I was out all evening, this is the last notice I received:

Advisory: Update to Napa Incident

Dear weco,

A news conference was just held at the Veterans Home of California in Yountville. We just learned the following information. CHP received a call at about 10:20 AM of gunshots fired at the Veterans Home in Yountville. Several agencies responded and deputies arrived within four minutes. Deputies engaged suspect and gunfire was exchanged. The suspect is armed with a rifle but as of this moment there are no injuries.

The suspect has taken three hostages. Three different tactical teams have him confined to a single room. Hostage negotiators from 3 different agencies are on scene. There is no public safety threat at this time. Access to location is restricted. This is an ongoing and active dynamic situation. The public is asked to stay away.
