Probably not for that reason. Failing schools here in Virginia never get closed. They just shuffle around their staff ad nauseum in hopes of getting better results.

However, if you are right, then the Oklahoma school referenced at the start of this thread must be a successful one. In that case, I commend Oklahoma for managing its schools efficiently. Other states like New York (which has the mostly grossly overpaid public teachers in the country) need to follow the Oklahoma model.
