It's just that I do not happento believe that visitors going there for all the liberal theme parks happen to be a criterion regarding whether a state is in IT'S terminology, a shithole, especially when IT has never lived here.
I have been to Florida on numerous occasions on business for extended time periods.
I prefer the climate of Ohio and Michigan. I prefer not having my garbage covered in FIRE ANTS five minutes after I put it to the curb for collection. I prefer not having notoriously hot and humid of sweltering heat to put up and the water there is horrible at best. Get yourself a good chug of SALINE water.

I prefer the general political climate here, the overal outdoor climate, the wage scales, the manufacturing and tech industries, the expansive farmland which makes this part of America's world's greatest farmland.
You ALL are full of shit if you want to run down a state that has been so important in American history, and yet bothers nobody. And none of you have spent your lives here either.
As I sated earlier, I can live anywhere in the world I want to. I can pay cash for very nice homes anyplace.
I prefer to stay here. I don't like Kasich but our State legislature keeps him in check. He is an outsider anyway.
That said, we are pretty even keel here.
Low taxes compared to others and a very nice, livable climate.
Don't criticize someplace that one has not spent a great deal of time and research and traveling all around that state.
During the revolutionary war the British LOVED the OHIO country. It is gorgeous. Several wonderful National forests all over the eastern third and both North and South. Shawnee, Mohican, Hocking, to name just three.
