Funny thing about that is that this is a dim bulb who literally knows almost zero about this nation, it's foundational doctrines bought with the blood of patriots, or of the kind of dedication it takes to actually do what De is getting ready to accomplish. He is on the final stretch of this goal he and his family set their sights on some time before. He successfully finished a great career, saw his son get accepted into a top tier University, and is going to do exactly what you stated, retire to the life that HE wants, not what someone else does or the life that he can only get by on....
He is retiring on HIS terms. I applaud HIM. Congrats are in order and well deserved. He has EARNED by determination exactly what his goal and desire was.
