Right now it appears that the 'invasion force' is
not armed or particularly dangerous. Just a bunch
of illegal would be immigrants planning a mass
'invasion' . . .

But, if this group appears to be armed I think it is a
safe bet that Trump will either reinforce them with
troops that are armed - or, more likely, have the
National Guardsmen arm up.

From what I saw on the news today, the intent is to
have the Guardsmen provide support functions to free
up more border patrol agents. Support to include
logistical support - as in helicopters or trucks and
buses as well as dog care, food, etc. etc.

Seriously this is just posturing and it is bullshit. It was meant to appease people and keep them from showing up themselves as many comments all over the internet were talking about doing. This does not appease me. They can’t turn back illegals. They can’t detain them. They can’t protect themselves from illegals and gang/cartel members. Utter bullshit and is NOT acceptable. Since when is the NG not armed?

Why are so many celebrating this as if it is “winning”? It is embarrassing!

The Mexican foreign ministry says U.S. Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen has told Mexico’s top diplomat that U.S. National Guard troops being deployed to the border “will not carry arms or carry out migration or customs control activities.”

Mexican Foreign Secretary Luis Videgaray is in Washington on a visit. A foreign ministry statement issued Wednesday night says Nielsen told Videgaray that the troops will only be providing support for Department of Homeland Security work.

It says the deployment will be similar to ones in 2006 under President George Bush and in 2010 with President Barack Obama.

Kirstjen Nielsen has told Mexican authorities that National Guard troops deployed on the border would not be armed or participate in immigration or customs duties, according to the Mexican Foreign Ministry.

Nielsen’s plan, though still vague, would use state Guard units in support roles, in accordance with U.S. law, resembling the two recent deployments from Presidents Obama and George W. Bush.

Mexico said it has emphasized to the Trump administration that if the deployment comes to resemble a militarization of the border, “it will gravely damage the bilateral relationship.”

Why the FUCK is Mexico able to dictate anything on this? When people hear “Trump ordered National Guard on the border” they assume they will be like a military force, and armed and able to prevent invaders from invading….not that they are there to prance around unarmed to be of “assistance”

Here’s the deal.

As American citizens we have hit the wall or rather found the corner our Congress and Leaders have put us in.

Our Founders created a very powerful and unique document which expressly listed the POWERS of the Federal Government and also delineated the RIGHTS of the American people.

Here is the issue with using the Armed Forces.
Straight from Wikipedia.
