Mr. Monk,
The Guru at work recommended AOMEI backup software.

If your hard drive does not have that much stuff on
it, it can make a bootable USB stick then one can
create an AOMEI image of it and store it on the stick.

(Then replace the hard drive with a new one, and restore
the image onto it. Leaving the original H.D. intact
just in case.)

I've used it quite a bit where I work.

Freeware too.

Micro, recently you recommended a backup software (free I think) that you use.

My recollection is that one could make a bootable drive, and image the OS and everything on to it.

Would you mind reposting that recommend, and also post it on Constituti - (I'll put it in the Board Info are so it'll be easy to find.)

I might miss your repost here on PopeIV - so putting it on Constituti would make it very easy to find.
