Our goal wasn't to keep the cans from freezing. It was to keep them from jetting across the kitchen, spreading water all over the hardwood floor (water is bad for hardwood) and possibly breaking something.

We didn't expect them to burst again. They hadn't done that in other years. Maybe the winters are colder to the cans are cheaper now?

In any event, our plan worked. The cans stayed put. We didn't think they'd destroy the crispers, though...

Gold is $1,581/oz today. When it hits $2,000, it will be up 26.5%. Let's see how long that takes. - De 3/11/2013 - ANSWER: 7 Years, 5 Months

De,
Refrigerators are designed to keep stuff cold . . .
Not keep them from freezing.

Were you planning on global warming to make New
Hampshire into a mild climate paradise? Or did
you just miss the part about New Hampshire's winter
weather climate?

Sorry for your loss.
Zim.
